Our annual free lecture for international art students who want to stay in the Netherlands after graduation, will take place as an in-person event this year. The presentation will address general topics related to legal residency for foreign artists, such as:

  • How can you obtain a residence permit that allows you to work in the Netherlands as an independent artist or performer?
  • What must be demonstrated to prove that your work serves ‘essential Dutch cultural interests?
  • Who is eligible for a combined residence- and work permit in the creative industries?
  • Wat is an orientation (or job-seeking) year?
  • What are special rules for specific nationalities?
  • What costs should I take into account?

Lotte van Diepen and Leonie Haenen will answer these and other questions during a presentation. Afterwards, there will be (limited) time for Q&A.

The presentation will be in English.
