Thomas was sworn in as an attorney in January 2026 and works as a trainee attorney at Everaert. Between 2019 and 2025, he was already active at Everaert as bookkeeper and paralegal. He handles all types of cases within the field of regular migration law.

His interest in migration law emerged during his bachelor’s at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. As part of his minor, he took courses in Migration Law and completed an internship at Everaert. During his master’s, he was introduced to labour migration in the course European Labour Law.

In addition to immigration law, Thomas has a strong interest in sports law. He wrote his master’s thesis on the legal protection of elite athletes under anti-doping regulations. At Everaert, he also assists foreign athletes and their clubs in residence procedures.
