Simone joined Everaert Advocaten as a paralegal in November 2025. She works in the creative team and in the labour migration section, where she is involved in a wide range of cases.

Simone completed a Bachelor’s degrees in Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics (PPLE) and in Law, as well as a Master’s degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). In her Master’s degree, she specialized in immigration law. Her thesis is about the implications of the Changu judgment of the European Court of Justice (CJEU) for the shelter of unauthorized migrants in the Netherlands.

During her studies, Simone gained practical experience as a legal advisor at the Vrouwenrechtswinkel Amsterdam and as a working student at Bureau Clara Wichmann. Here she also gained experience working in a culturally and gender-sensitive way.
