Maggie started at Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers in July 2022. As a legal support assistant in the administrative supportive staff of Team Business, she has gained experience and knowledge in the field of labour migration. Since January 2025, she has also been working as a paralegal. In this role, she not only supports our lawyers in corporate migration cases, but also matters concerning individuals such as nationality law issues and family reunification.

Before joining Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers, Maggie taught Dutch to non-native speakers. Her students regularly asked her questions about naturalisation and permanent residence permits. This sparked her interest in immigration law. Thanks to this experience, she is keen to help people who have chosen the Netherlands as their new home.

Having completed a bachelor’s degree in Japanese Studies at Leiden University, besides being fluent in both Dutch and English, Maggie speaks Japanese at an advanced level.
