
Before joining Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers in 2019, Lotte worked in the administration of justice on cases in the field of immigration and asylum law, and (international) criminal law. She was also involved in Rule of Law projects in the former Yugoslavia, where she was deployed with the European Union.
In her practice, Lotte specializes in matters related to family reunification, Article 8 of the ECHR (including cases on elderly persons) and EU law. Due to her expertise in the field of criminal law, she can advise and litigate on aspects of public order and employer sanctions.
Lotte further assists migrant workers and self-employed persons, especially those in the creative industries (music and arts), as well as companies intending to hire foreign employees.
Lotte completed a Master’s degree in Public International Law with a minor in International Relations at the University of Amsterdam. Lotte speaks fluent Dutch and English.
