The Dutch government issued information about the way both Brexit scenarios will impact on British nationals living and working in the Netherlands.

Britons who live and work legally in the Netherlands now, can continue to do so after Brexit, even in case no agreement is reached (no deal).

• There will be a transitional period for which a temporary residence permit will be issued.
• During this period all British nationals legally residing in the Netherlands, will receive an invitation from IND to apply for a new residence permit.
• The same rules will apply to this residence permit as for all other EU citizens.
