From 1 April 2020, young people from Japan and Taiwan will have the opportunity to spend a maximum of 1 year in the Netherlands to learn about Dutch culture and society in a mutual exchange programme between our countries.

Annualy, 200 candidates from Japan and 100 from Taiwan can apply for this Working Holiday Programme (WHP). To qualify, you have to be between 18 and 30 years of age.Taking part will allow you to take up a study in the Netherlands and (incidental) employment without the requirement of a work permit.
