At the invitation of the European Commission Barbara Wegelin spoke last week at the Eastern Partnership Panel on Migration and Asylum in Tbilisi, Georgia. This panel meeting concerned family reunification.
The Eastern Partnership Panel on Migration and Asylum aims to harmonize the legal systems of countries to the east of the European Union (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) with regard to certain issues, such as immigration.
Barbara Wegelin’s contribution concerned integration and income requirements within family reunification.
