Since the Netherlands introduced the Foreign investors entry scheme in 2013, only very few permits based on the scheme have been issued.
The entry scheme enables wealthy persons of non-EU nationality, proven they make a substantial contribution to the Dutch economy, to obtain a residence permit for a duration of 3 years at most. After 3 years, renewal can be applied for and the contribution to Dutch economy will be verified once more.
This week we received the positive decision on an application our firm made on the basis of this entry scheme. In spite of the very strict conditions this type of application needs to meet, this positive outcome shows that it is a real option after all.
