Danielle joined Everaert Advocaten Immigration Lawyers as a paralegal in February 2020. Prior to this position, she gained work experience in the field of labor migration. In addition to labor migration, she is also involved in family migration, permanent residence and nationality queries at Everaert Advocaten.
Danielle studied law at Utrecht University. During her bachelor she completed a minor in Gender Studies. She also completed courses in German at Leipzig University. In 2017 she obtained a master’s in Public International Law at Utrecht University. During her studies, she was a student assistant at the Netherlands Institute of Human Rights.
After her studies she interned at the Khmer Rouge Tribunal in Cambodia and at a human rights law firm in Amsterdam. She also worked at Utrecht University as a junior researcher, where she did research to evaluate the Dutch transgender law.
Danielle is fluent in Dutch and English.
