| Civic Integration Exam before Provisional Residence Permit Procedure No Longer Required for Turks |
|
In a ruling of 16 August 2011 the Central Appeals Tribunal held that the civic integration requirement for Turkish nationals and their family members is in violation of the EU-Turkey association agreement. Following the CRvB’s ruling Turkish nationals (and their family members) who apply for a provisional residence permit (MVV) are no longer required to take the basic civic integration exam abroad. |
