The government handling fees for a residence permit for an indefinite period will be reduced to €130. This will also apply to the fees for third-country nationals who are long term residents, as well as to the fees for a national residence permit for an indefinite period.

The Minister announced that the cost reduction will be retroactive to the date of the Verdict of the European Court on this subject, 26 April 2012. The Minister is studying whether this Verdict will impact other fees.
