| Fees for European Blue Card set |

On 19 June the directive with regard to the European Blue Card has been implemented. On 16 June the Minister for Immigration and Asylum has informed the Dutch House of Representatives about the fees for this Card.
The fees for an application for an mvv for an EU Blue Card are set at €750 and for the subsequent application for a residence permit at €188. These fees are in accordance with the fees for an application for an mvv and subsequent residence permit for highly skilled migrants. The fees for an application for an EU Blue Card for foreign nationals who do not need an authorization for temporary stay are set at €750 (applications for residence permit without mvv and change of purpose).
