Implementation of Modern Migration policy postponed

The modern migration policy was adopted by the Dutch parliament in 2010. The expectation at the time was that this new policy would come into force as of 1 January 2010.

Implementation of the new policy however has been delayed, until further notice, by technical problems associated with new computer systems at the Immigration and Naturalisation Services (IND).
