Hospitals can take advantage of an accelerated applications procedure for foreign scientists, researchers and medical students studying for a specialisation. A pre condition is that hospitals have previously signed up for the procedure. In this situation, hospitals do not need to have requested a work permit for the employee/student in question. Furthermore, the application for a permit is processed within two weeks.
